About the author
Harry grew up in the South West of England. At the age of thirteen he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. It was a scary and confusing time. Now in his thirties, Harry has written and illustrated The Diabetic Dinosaur with the hope that it can help lessen the fear and confusion children have when being diagnosed with diabetes.

The Diabetic Dinosaur is a picture book about a dinosaur called Tommy who discovers he has Type 1 Diabetes. Through the telling of Tommy’s story, it hopes to help children of all ages come to terms with, and understand, this life changing but not necessarily limiting disease.
